Many students from my university, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, work at Enosis. When I was a student, I wanted to join Enosis Solutions because most of my seniors were working there. I also heard good things about the company from others, so I was very interested.
I did not apply directly. One of my seniors referred me, and soon after that I got a call for an interview. At that time, almost everyone who applied, with or without a referral, was being called for interviews.
The interview had three rounds:
- Written Exam
- Technical Interview
- HR Interview
Written Exam
The interviewer called about 6 to 8 candidates, most of them from the same university. I was from a different university. He showed us a slideshow about Enosis and life at the company. I liked it a lot. After that, he gave us the exam papers and left the room.
The questions were simple. Most of them were problem-solving, with some QA and analytical questions. I answered all except one correctly. I knew the answer, but I made a careless mistake because I was going too fast.
One thing I did not like about this round was that after the interviewer left, the other candidates, who all knew each other, started sharing answers. I think if someone stayed in the room, it would have been more fair.
Technical Interview
This round was the most interesting for me. The interviewer was friendly and helpful. He gave me a C++ application and asked me to solve a problem. The main problem was easy, but then he gave me four or five different versions and asked me to solve each one using a different technology. Alhamdulillah, I was able to solve all of them.
One small issue is that the problems are available online, and it looked like everyone was getting the same set. So it did not feel very unique.
At the end, the interviewer showed me my written exam paper and pointed to the question I got wrong. He asked if I could find the mistake. I explained the correct answer, and he was happy with it.
HR Interview
By the grace of Almighty Allah, I got an offer after the technical round. Then I had the HR interview. It was short and simple. They explained the contract, gave me time to read it, and asked me to sign.
Overall, it was a good experience and I am happy that I went through it.
