Interview Experience at Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh (SRBD)
My very first job interview was at Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh, and it turned out to be one of the best fresher interview experiences I've had. The entire process was built around problem-solving, almost like a programming contest. Here's how it went.
My first ever job interview was at Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh (SRBD), and it stands out as one of the best fresher interview experiences I've had. Their process was heavily focused on problem-solving, which suited me well.
I participated in their on-site programming contest twice before and eventually received an HR call for a formal interview. The interview itself was structured like a programming contest. I was given a problem to solve within 3 to 4 hours.
The problem was binary search-related, though the problem statement was quite lengthy. In terms of difficulty, it was roughly equivalent to a Codeforces Div. 2 medium C. Alhamdulillah, I solved it in 15 to 20 minutes.
Since I hadn't completed my graduation yet at that point, the next round of interview calls came in just before I finished my degree. That round involved both an HR representative and a lead engineer, who asked a mix of technical and general HR questions.
I received the offer but ultimately didn't join. I had another offer in hand from a company I was more keen to join.
